Observe this battle log

It seems that when I have only six MP left and I use an attack that consumes exactly six MP, It says:

Quote:

HP: 639/792
MP: err/392

You do get a 10% penalty for being dead Zombie

(edit) It was a close match, but sadly not close enough. I felt like I could barely outdamage Unc's healing.

When was the last time I added a straight damage attack? Meteor Dive, that's when. Screw all you Int guys, I'm making more direct attacks.

I was just wondering about that last night. I am glad to see that dead allies still get rewards if their team still wins.

Could a player's stats keep track of "Team Assists" in addition to wins and losses?

It might also bee cool if there was some kind of "Underdog Bonus" that you could get just for fighting someone vastly stronger than you, even if you die (like maybe if you fight a one-on-one with someone who has more than 5x your HP, you are eligible for 1 bonus point of strength when you die, or something like that)

EDIT: Also, a suggestion. What if on the list of active battle, slimes who have already been defeated had their names displayed with strikeout text?

Can you explain what you mean by this?

I'm disinclined to give lose bonuses because then it becomes hugely profitable to challenge people you can't go two rounds with. There's already a significant bonus for winning against a superior opponent:

Quote:
Rock & Roll Sentai's team wins the battle!
Rock & Roll Sentai wins 113 Slimebucks!
Twinconclusive wins 132 Slimebucks!
Mogri wins 91 Slimebucks!

So a novice player can get a big reward simply by being tacked onto the winning team. (Our biggest earner, Twinconclusive, is still way stronger than the default.)

I just mean when a person dies but their teams still wins, that should be counted as an additional statistic. "Team Assist" was just the first name that popped into my head. There might be something more intuitive to call it.

I guess I was just mainly thinking about a very small bonus for losing in a one-on-one. But yeah, I would hate to see it be abused-- and it would still only make sense if you got it for surviving longer than expected (and calculating how long "expected" is would be an overly hard task).

Anyway, just a suggestion, you don't have to take it.

And speaking of suggestions: I think it would be great if the list of users when you are making a challenge was sorted. Maybe sort anybody who has never participated in a slime battle to the bottom, and sort anybody who has fought recently to the top. Maybe also display some statisitic such as max HP or win/loss summary

I think it's safe to say that everything went wrong the moment I wasn't able to successfully perform a fusion. Grin

Right now, the finished battles are not links to anything. It make sense for them not to be a link to the battlefield since the battle is over, but it would be cool if finished battles were a link to the finishing blow in the fight logs.

Then I could easily click to see Mogri sky-slamming me to death with terminal velocity, rather than having to hunt through the fight log index to find it.

By the way, Mogri, I see that you damaged yourself to within 16 HP of death in your killing blow. What happens when all slimes on the battlefield die in one round? Is it a win for the attacker even though they died? A win for the targetted even though they died? Or is there a special-case for draws?

Draws are a special case. No one gets any rewards and it does not alter anyone's win streak.

As I type this, I'm beginning to think there's a better way to handle that.

Sudden Death!

I'm not exactly sure how this could be possible while keeping it fair to all slimes involved.
Maybe start the Slimes that were killed in that round with some fixed fraction of their health and remove all buffs?
