I should be on later this afternoon (3ish?) if you want to play some matches. Last time I made a room it crashed (?) so I'll wait for you to make a room if you're on and want to play.

Here's the Smash U review. It's a remix of the 3DS review!!
We do need to schedule a match some time, I wish the system for messaging wasn't so clunky.

It's worth noting that they announced that the first big patch would add a "tourney" system similar to Mario Kart 8's (which is basically just custom match making settings tied to a ranking table). So playing stock items with randoms will probably eventually be possible, as I imagine most people will flock to tourneys with those rules when it's out. They also mentioned a hub for downloading custom stages and more literal online tournaments with actual brackets. (Personally I'm mostly just hoping for more stuff to put in custom levels).
I think there might already be hidden matchmaking based on performance as well (at least in for glory) since I got my butt handed to me by some goobers at first, but after enough losses I started to get matched with people who knew how to have fun and change their character (as much fun as can be had on final destination anyway).
Also msw my network id is sdhawk so add me too! Would be great if we could get some 4 player ohr matches going.

We should probably just make a new thread for Smash Chat/meet ups, had a good time getting killed horribly by you bro.

Have you ever played Revenge Of the Titans? It is kindof the sequel to Titan Attacks, but it is a totally different genre of game with little to no similarity to the first game other than the art style. I consider it one of my favorite tower-defence games.
I haven't, but this one didn't inspire me to want to give these dudes dollars. I'm glad it was free! Also I don't think I've ever liked a tower defense game, I'm a bad Indie Games Fan since I don't like those or Rogue Likes at all.

Also if anyone hasn't "Liked" the Wobble Reviews Facebook page yet you REALLY SHOULD, it's super cool! Or not at all, but I need better numbers so please do it anyway thanks. https://www.facebook.com/WobbleReviews

Oh, I quite liked Revenge of the Titans. I think I only got through about 24 levels before I reached the point that I couldn't continue without going back and redoing the previous 4 or so levels better. Because cash and other resources carry over from level to level you can paint yourself into a corner (and you can also really paint yourself into a corner if you don't purchase techs in the right sequence. I think I redid some levels just to change the techs I had purchased.) So I never got around to continuing. Games like that sit in an uncomfortable intermediate position where they are technically replayable, in that you can replay them and make completely different decisions and have a different experience, but are far too long and too much of an investment to actually bother replaying unless you have nothing else to do. That's why I'm not fond of New Game+ options in RPGs.
