Any advice? :o

I absolutely love this, and want to be involved in some capacity - wonderful! I'm happy to proof-read, play test, and am pleased to offer advice on music.

Ive been looking around, and i havn't found it yet... i'm not the best scriptor, and i don't know all the things i can do with scripting. as you may know, in mgs snake has a cardboard box he uses for sneaking. with scripting, can i get in a vehicle ( box ) any time the player wants to by pressing an assigned key, after obtaining the box?

I think as far as music ive been doing good. So far all of the music has been from previous mgs games, and im trying to keep it that way too, you know, add effect if you found any music from the mgs series you really like i guess i could add it in my game where you want

I just assumed you'd use original music! Have you decided what format the battles will take?

Creating a 'wear the box' script would be very easy. I remember waaaay back in the day I started work on MGS:OHR, but I never got much beyond a handful of maps and some graphics.

As i have mentioned, im not the best scripter... iv'e seen in some games where you can kill an enemy without going into battle ( an example outside of ohr is the battles is final fantasy 12). i would like battles to be like that to have it more like mgs, but so far you just step in front of an enemies npc as that mgs alert ! sound plays, then you go into original ohr style battle.

That should be pretty easy. Let me think about this and I'll get back to you with a mock-up script.

I am reminded suddenly of an event that happened 6 years ago... a LARP... I spent several hours in a cardboard box... crazy times...

(I just felt the need to share that, no idea why xD)

and yes, yes I did write "The Orange" on the side with an illustration... I wish I'd kept it now to be honest...

LARPing at 6... I suddenly respect you more.

Not at 6... that'd be really awesome though... it was 6 years ago (unless you think I'm 12!?) naw... I was about 13/14 when I did that. Once I also wound up half-naked and painted purple, but that is a story for another time.
