Can someone confirm for me how the math is handled when an attack has two elements, and the enemy has different resists for each?
As a hypothetical, let's say we have the Martin Sword, which does an attack that is both ice and fire element. Then, suppose you attack a Grumpkin with this sword, which takes 80% damage from fire, but 150% from ice. How is this calculated?

It firstly depends on the base math calculations you choose.
Secondly, it'll show you in the base math calculations choosing spot. just go to Edit General Game Data, then choose Battle System Options, And finally Hero Elemental Resistance Calculation.
BAM! And that's all she wrote, folks.

Is this accurate? It just adds or multiples all the applicable resists and treats the damage as a single total? If so, that makes a lot more sense; dunno why I was thinking that it would have to deal with the two elemental types separately.
So um, in the above example, the Grumpkin would take .80 * 1.50 = 120% damage from the attack?
