So I've got a bunch of midis that start with "1-2-3-4" drumstick clicks or long periods of silence, or both. (no I didn't make them. I am not a musician at all.) I'm trying to find some way to edit those bits out.
I've tried using Audacity, and I CAN technically get rid of those parts. The problem is the exported midi is a soulless mess, and all the instruments were replaced by beeps and generic piano noises. Am I just doing this wrong, or do any of you have a better suggestion?
—- So anyway, how are you?
Try guitar pro! Audacity is capable of opening midi files but isn't capable of exporting or editing it.
You can download the trial version and after use a serial key to use it freely IF you like
