Same Armor Type in Multiple Slots?

Hi all,

I was messing with an idea lately where I wanted to have my four armor types as:

Head
Armor
Accessory
Accessory

Ideally, any "accessory" item would be able to be equipped to either of the 3rd or 4th slots. It didn't occur to me until I was actually making some items that you can only define an item as "equippable as: ___" ONE type of armor at a time.

So are there any obvious workarounds to this? I know I could have some items equippable as "accessory1" and some as "accessory2", but if anyone can think of a better way, I'm all ears. I've been brainstorming myself, and still haven't come up with anything viable.

Note that I'm not necessarily looking for a way to do exactly what I originally wanted; a compromise that preserves the spirit of it would be fine with me.

You'd need to custom-code an equip menu. OHR doesn't support it natively.

Yeah, I know that's the only way to do it exactly as I was originally planning; I'm mostly posting in case anyone had any insights on how to approximate something close to it that I was just overlooking.

Here's one way: have two copies of each accessory, like Bangle-L and Bangle-R. Put a Handyman-L and a Handyman-R in every town -- these guys will convert accessories to their left-handed and right-handed versions, respectively (i.e. shops that let you trade one item for another -- if you don't want to reveal the accessory list, you can bind tags to the items). You can charge a nominal fee for the service if you want.
