ATTENTION EVERY TMC

I downloaded the latest nightly, tried to compile the line break string code:
Code:
\n
And it crashes custom.exe
I've been trying to reproduce it, but have been unsuccessful.
On the up-side, I was able to compile the 'new line' script in a new rpg file. False alarm (sorry TMC).
On the down-side, this will be the 3rd time I've had to restart.
The error in question: whatever it was, it had something to do with taking Fenrir's 'rules' rpg file, opening it in an older nightly (it auto-updated the file), and messing with map layers and door links. The master palette was lost and map0 became corrupt, it would crash if you tried to view npc data on the map too. And it crashes whenever I try to compile a script within the editor. It won't show the first master palette. The file is cursed.

If I was looking for some way to copy protect my RPG files, this would be something I'd do, rather than use some sort of silly DRM.
To friends long gone, and those I've yet to meet - thank you.
Fen, I'm really struggling with the spirit of this contest. I want to believe it's simply 'make a funny fun game', but funny bad or funny stupid or pohrn or funny what? And don't say it's up to the judges or people voting!! ARGH
Spoony prediction time:
It's one of those making fun of indie 'salads as art' salads.

Suddenly, Trolls! Hundreds of them!
Guo: Lol, I read your review. No, the game is not a fan game of the original trolls, which I had no idea existed. I felt bored, saw the contest thread, said 'frig it' and slapped together that monstrosity. It's very minimalistic. The game does have an end, though, if you can kill 999 trolls. There are only three scripts: Intro, Do Game, and End Game. Do Game is a loop, which keeps going as long as a variable is below 999. The variable is after a battle, so after 999 battles, you get an ending.
I need to really haul slime for the last half of this month if I want to make any salad at all. I was going to do some work on this today, but after I got home from my job I took a nap for two hours. When I was about to get started after that, I had to go move a TV.
I was really looking forward to making this thing, too.
Remeber: God made you special and he loves you very much. Bye!
