so i've come to the conclusion that if i ever want to finish my Double Dragon RPG fangame that i started oh-so-long ago, i'm gonna need help. i need to face the facts and realize that i'm just not very good at drawing backgrounds, landscapes, or people realistically (at least not yet, anyway). the game file stares me in the face every time i open up CUSTOM and GAME.EXE, and it depresses me to see how much potential it has as a game and how little work i've done with it (despite the fact that it taught me a lot about plotscripting, some scripts i now use in Doom RPG).
anyway, if anyone is interested and can draw realistic backgrounds or maptiles, let me know. if you'd also like to design the characters, that's fine too (although being a fangame, that's pretty much limited to the 8-9 new characters i have outlined for the story). of course, any help is appreciated, but the biggest problem is the backgrounds, maptiles, and comic book-like .bmp cutscenes, reminiscent of Double Dragon 2.
