D&D anyone?

Was wondering if anyone has ever tinkered around with MapTools (http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=maptool) or anything similar. Also, if anyone is into tabletop gaming, would anyone be interested in starting a campaign or something?

I'd be up for Slime Salad D&D (as a PC). Both campaigns started on Slime Salad died though so hopefully others are interested.

Well the first chapter of the last campaign went well. But the second chapter was littered with players dropping out. I also think people lost interest in the plot.

Maybe the first chapter could be moved to the general forums for all to see? Perhaps?

I really enjoyed the first chapter of Spoonweaver's campaign.

I would be up for another campaign-- although I hope we wait until after the Random Collab Contest Week is over :)

I had a fun time with D&D, but then I hired Pathfinder into a part-time position and he's been doing everything D&D did and more. D&D is now on notice and I've promoted Pathfinder.

Cool. I'd really be interested in playing as a PC as well, though I do have more experience running games. I've been wanting to try my hand at playing a bard-barian for some time now, heh heh.

Don't have a lot of experience with play-by-post though, most of my gaming has been with virtual tabletops (MapTools) which allow for speedier (albeit a bit messier) gaming.

I'm not the moderator for that forum. In fact it doesn't seem to have one. I'd love to play in a campaign btw, but I don't want to run the next one.

Can I get added to the RP group as well? I had to skip out on Spoonweaver's campaign last time because I had no internet at the time and didn't think I could feasably play.

IF I were to run a game, I'd be using MapTools, it would allow for faster play, but the problem would be time zones. I'm in the Philippines, the land of jeepneys and lechon, and we're at UTC+8. What's everyone else at?

I *can* do real time, but I agree that play by forum would have better accessibility for a lot of us.

Indeedy, real-time would be cool, but considering we're all over the globe, play-by-post seems best. I'd offer to run it, but I know next to nothing about running a play-by-post game.

Anyway, I might enjoy running Temple of Elemental Evil or Tomb of Horrors updated for 3.5e. Something dungeon-crawly with plenty of TPKs combat.

I know I'm the group mod, I'm just not the Usergroup's forum mod. I assumed at first that's just how the usergroups forums worked but then.. the colab forum is modded by bluetrain. The roleplaying one, however doesn't have a mod.

Sweet, I'd be up for that if it got going. Here's me rolling up some cannon fodder, hehe...
