Does anyone remember, back in 2007, when that very first issue of Hamster Speak was release? I'm sure some of you do. If not, I will link it to the bottom of this post. Now, does anyone remember the second review, present in Issue #1? If not, it was called Neo Tek Armano. It was slammed harder than...well...I'm not gonna go there. Either way, it sucked. (It really wasn't a sonic rip off though, ha!) The game was a very bad early build, that was being used to learn the OHR.
Now, I bet someone is already thinking, "Holy crap!? Is this the release of the Good game mentioned at the bottom of the review?" Well, no, it's not...
The game was lost when The computer it was on's Hard Drive bit the dust, and the backup on the flash drive is corrupted. Back to the drawing board on that, but now it's time to introduce ourselves!
We are Narkotix Team, and the maker of that garbage is none other than the lead developer of our team!
With a new computer, and new invigoration, we are ready to take on the challenge of a new game! We are here to put old school addiction into our games, are are ready and waiting for any critic who want to take a shot at us! The more we know, the better we can make our games, right?
Now, we want to ask about our next project with the OHR, and see if it sparks any interest in the community.
The plan is to make a game in the vein of the dear old game boy, black and white, (no, not green and lighter green, though we may release a second version.) and chip tunes all the way! We also wish to do a battle system, not really done (to my knowledge) much to the OHR, but should be easily do-able! A first person battle system!
The story is still pretty much in the air, and any and all ideas are accepted.
Any thoughts?

That time I tried to be like AVGN has changed somebody's life.
Not my finest moment (this is why I don't write reviews).

Uh, were you KittenMaster? Quite a shock that the reviewer would be the first to reply!
The review really is a little over the top. I gave permission for it to be reviewed like that, so it never really bothered me.

Well, I am ashamed not because I slammed your game or possibly hurt your feelings, but because I thought aping the AVGN was funny. That just doesn't fly and I know Surlaw will be the first to agree.

Hopefully you will create a game that shall get good praise.

Wait.
If you are a "team", and you use a liberal use of "we", who are the other members?

Friends of mine.
Seth Owens - Me. I do a lot of everything. I'm the artist of us friends, I was always the class voted best artist of the year, 1st grade till high school. I still suck at spriting, and drawing on the computer, but I'm better than before. And the worst thing is I have never been able to make music good, except on garage band, but I don't have a mac, nor do I want people saying, "He made that in garage band." (have you ever seen a comercial and said that yourself? I do quite often.)
Ryan Morgan - Gives mostly feedback, not to great with coming up with new ideas though. (Helped with making the team name, 6 or 7 years ago.)
Daniel Vetitoe - Helps a LOT with story, and the occasional idea. Helped me finish the Neo Tek Armano Story in full. (It is SO much different from the old game though!) He plays games 95% of his free time.
Travis Rush - Helps with the funny. If I need something funny to happen, I can ask him, give him the scenario, and he will make me bust up laughing in 30 seconds or less!
A handful more, too.
I do most everything when it actually comes to MAKING the game, as I'm the most familiar with it. (it, being the OHR mainly, and so many other RPG makers, I always return to the OHR.) But just me isn't good enough, as help with the plot, and many other elements is vital to the game's success!
Still need something to learn how to make music with (I want chip tunes) or someone who will make them for us.
Narkotix is actually what happened when we all tried to combine our high school nicknames into one thing. So every one of use know each other personally and live close by.
(Neko, Senka, Chaotix = Narkotix)

Welcome back! I look forward to seeing what you and your team are working on

It sure is nice to hear that from the main man himself! I am hoping to get a good star on it by the end of next week, it's when I am taking vacation from work. Hopefully a demo at least.
