Thanks! And maybe I can write something... I'm not really a composer (I have no musical training and can't read sheet music, I just hit keys until something nice comes out) but I'll think on it.
Musagi is great because it's very tuned towards non-musical folk like myself. I especially like the "dissonance" meter at the top, because you can just play keys and it will tell you if they don't go together. It helps to get the hang of it more naturally. I'd recommend using Musagi if you want to get more familiar with creating music in general. He also has a pretty good tutorial here: http://www.drpetter.se/tutorial_musagi1.html
