Me and Skull are trying to establish, as he said, story settings and the like. Currently, were trying to sort out temporal paradoxes...you'd understand if I told you, but i'm going to keep it a secret. Time travel is a doozy...ugh.
We have not much plot direction at this moment...

Dealing with plot, yes. Hopefully we can sort out enough of a storyline to get started soon.

Meanwhile, sometime in december...
Explained the grave importance of crushing the Giz team and the significance of a Char win in that regard.
It appears Mari and I are making Sword of Jade III. She really really wants to make a seasons / time system script, so don't blame me for what happens.
It appears it will also be Pokemon-like.
I think I have a shot at taking this out of the contest and challenging JSH with my new Mari pokemon. Newbie is pretty rad, but I finally got one of my own!! ;_; yesssss

Giz and I don't have any ideas beyond a vague notion that it should involve a fairly normal human woman as the protagonist going through a place full of strange things.
We've still got plenty of time to come up with something, right?

It is now December 1st, and I haven't the foggiest notion to what Skullduggery is doing. I think he's working on graphics, but i'm not so sure. I'd appreciate if he got back to me as to what he's up to.

it's now december 3rd... ALREADY?! we've done practically nothing. (mostly my fault though) gotta get my butt in gear and get to work! we're still not even sure what we are going to do.
one idea was a bust, because neither of us have any idea how to script it. another didn't pan out because my partner wants to save his idea to be a commercial game one day. (i can't really blame him for that one, but i had so many great ideas for it! maybe i'll get to work on it after this contest...) i'm not sure about the idea we have now, as it started out as a (buggy) project of mine for the last fangame contest, which i had hardly worked on past a few customized (and buggy) interfaces. even if spoon doesn't allow this for the contest, we might continue to work on it anyway. i have a feeling that it will be a pretty decent game.
well, thanks to james paige, i have finally fixed these bugs, and the game works as it should for now. we have decided on a story for the most part, so we really need to start getting some work done on the graphics and map-building, along with game mechanics and sound effects. (on the plus side, i have already picked out some sweet music.)
