If you're making graphics now, you've already started. "Oh, oh I hit the import button at that date, that makes it okay!" is the worst excuse ever. At least own up to the fact that you're cheating, man. Have some pride in it.

The graphics I've made are slightly edited versions of graphics from a game I made five or so years ago. By the same token, this is probably cheating on an even bigger level.
