THE OHR 2012 RANDOM COLAB CONTEST

Though not an official rule, I would like to urge the contestants to follow RMSephy's instructions. This will help the contest in many ways, as well as help contestants communicate ( which is a must ).


Also, FYI, this is an Explanation of how I got the teams from the list and the roll I posted.

Week 0 of Voltire & SDHawk

Got paired up with this Voltire fellow. Only thing of his I've played was The Tower which was pretty alright for what it was. Noticed how in his sign up post he was hoping for a scripter so I figure this is a pretty good match-up. Just waiting to get our contact information sorted out so we can begin planning in earnest. Don't have any specific game idea in mind myself so I'm eager to see if he has anything in mind.

Week 0 of JSH

I started plans for the construction of the fourth OHR House today. Well, it's more like an "OHR Cabin" this time around, since we have pretty much no budget. The contestants consist of long-time OHR veterans like Charbile and fairly fresh blood such as marionline. I don't even know what gender everyone is yet, but I have goosebumps.

I had to select a host for the show, and this guy seemed like the most obvious choice. I hope he gets along with everyone as he can be pretty arrogant.

Initial Impressions

Heard my original partner was THE GIZ before spoon had to re-roll due to a counting error. It would have been no contest, so maybe it's for the best. I secretly think Spoon was scared we'd not only sweep his event but we'd also probably make pohrn of his girlfriend. Nobody can read these confessionals until after the show airs, right?

I don't know Mario too much. I like his avatar. I'm sure we'll be chums.

Eh, do all the graphics and such have to be made directly by us? Because I was gonna ask another individual (not in contest) to see if he could help me out...

Yes, that is fine. You can recruit other people if you wish to do your music and what not.

Well, there's plenty of time still. ( like more than half a year ) So perhaps waiting might be a good idea. He tends to creep back in here every so often.

Day 2
Spoonweaver is being SOOOOOOOOO mean to me! It's just not fair. I'm gonna lock myself in my room and cry for awhile.

Then I'll go back to collaborating with myself, because that's what I do best.

uh, just asking, but are we allowed to collab on a game for the contest if there's a demo, but we want to get it done? i don't want to focus on 2 games at once.

hmm. that's gonna be hard to focus on two games at once, but alrighty then... Doom RPG would've made for a good collab game tho. And I didn't see a rule against it earlier...
