Incidentally, April 1st through 30th as usual. Didn't have it this year on account of SOMEBODY jumping the shark and hosting their own contest during the same time slot. I didn't want to spoil the fun of the fangame contest. But it had a low turnout, so....

At any rate you now have several months to plan out the most ridiculous/terrible game imaginable.

How many contest are there once a year?
I've read about haert of the OHR and Terrible Games Contest.
They are all held on different times in the year? By reading fenrirs post, i think they have all fix dates, right?

For the longest time the OHR community used to also have a Halloween Contest, with a horror/spooky theme, but in recent years participation has somewhat dropped off.

I'm in. Might as well got to do something, nothing else to do. That, and I had a few good ideas for some games, or possibly finish up one of the games in progress, whether it be mine or another guy's.

I wasn't aware that the Ridiculous Games Contest was always scheduled for April. Aside from that, I believe only the Human Day (Christmas) and Halloween contests happen on a fixed date. The Human Day contest hasn't happened for a few years either.



Similar, like... Single Transferable Vote? Borda rule?? Kemeny-Young??!



I have several roosters which might be able to assist! We can pair up people on roster in the order in which they're eaten by the rooster.

Also, props to Spoonweaver for his, in my opinion, good contest organisation this time around.

By eaten, do you mean like pecked or we talking full chew? Cause if that's so, this will be a contest of nothing but Karr's.

Roosters don't chew; they've got more important things to do. Like contemplating the future. Or balancing on one leg.

I might dial back the entry period a bit for this thing. Seeing as how we might already have all the people signed up who are going to sign up waiting another month to deal out partners seems pointless.

I'll instead wait till the 10th of October, to see if anyone else is at least on the fence about signing up, otherwise the pairings will be posted shortly after the 10th.
