I have my game setup to skip the title and loading screen and goto a script instead. Everything works as intended until you quit the game and then try and open the game back up in the same session. That is when I get the following errors:
map00 tile/wall/foe/npclocations/npcdefinitions/doorlinks is missing!
It does this for every map I'm guessing. Any idea why this is happening?

This sounds unlikely to be related to your skip title and skip load scripts, and unlikely to be related to your startup plotscript.
This sounds more like a bug simply in loading the same game twice in the same game.exe session. (or maybe even a problem loading a second game in the same game.exe session)
What version are you using? I remember a bug like that, but I thought it was fixed before zenzizenzic was released.

I'm using the last official release; no nightlies. I can send you a test case if you like.

Where should I sent it to?
Also, it looks like its just my game. I tried it on another game I had in the same folder and it didn't crash. I also could open my game, exit, and load the other game with no problems. In other words it seems to just happen when I first open my game and then try to reload it at this point.

I've seen this exact same bug with Vikings of Midgard--I think you were in the #slimesalad IRC room when I was talking about it, James.
But yeah, as Meatballsub mentioned, it doesn't happen with every game--most of the games I have on my computer never get the weird "map missing" endless chain of error messages, even when I intentionally quit then reload them without closing game.exe first.

Send the test case to Bob@HamsterRepublic.com
Fnrrf, yes i remember you reporting that bug. I thought that was just before the Zenzizienzic release... but maybe I am misremembering. Whatever it was I thought I fixed it.
Meatballsub, I will test your testcase both in Zenzizenzic and in the nightylies. Then I can figure out if this is a bug I have already fixed, or one that still needs fixing.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was after the Zenzizenzic release. I remember that it was around the time that I finally realized that it was "Zenzizenzic" and not "Zenizenic" (which I had been misreading it as for... pretty much ever since the Z codename was picked), which definitely wasn't until after Zenzizenzic had been around for at least a few days or so.

Quitting the game then reloading without quitting game.exe first causes all sorts of errors.
Palettes changing back to the original default palette
Textbox borders disappearing
no music ( I think, this might have been something else )
and of course the map missing bug.
I'd suggest simply not doing this. Always start up with a fresh copy of RPG.exe

I just sent the file. Let me know if you need anything else.
I don't mind exiting out completely then opening up a fresh GAME.exe, but I thought that the error needed to be known regardless.
