Could someone make a post on here when they've accumulated a surplus of potatoes and carrots, and maybe set up a free crop box somewhere near the spawn? I guess we could all get our own by mauling hordes of zombies, but it sure would be nice to have one of each crop to start with.

Yes! I have not found any potatoes or carrots yet, but I do indeed plan to seed farms of both in plenty of places.

I have began an amusing island floating far above the ocean in some random place somewhere.
Best way to reach it would be through a certain netherfort that I built a portal inside of...

I just got the first(?) potato of the server with Meowskivich!

We are now farming them. Whoever wants potatoes inquire to us, if you are too lazy to grind for them. We'll be...reasonable. You just have to come and meet us.

In case anybody has been wondering, the server has been inaccessible for more than a ay because of some kind of "disk issues". I have a ticket open with tech support, but they haven't given any info about how long it will take to fix it.

I think I shall build a coptic style cathedral next. I'd best start harvesting wool!

If anyone is in the neighborhood of Creeperton, Feel free to harvest some taters and carrots from the small farm plot there. It'd be nice if you replant, But I've got some spares in case you forget. Just look for the cobblestone fence, The farm is right inside.

Thanks, snoman! I picked up 15 of each, replanted them, then started a cute little farm with mossy cobble and cobblefence just in front of the library. From there I harvested some carrots, dug into my gold stash, and made a bunch of 8-minute Night Vision potions. I put 3 in the main bedroom at New Jerusalem and 3 in the central open-air Library area.

He-ey, Wozzeck, you want some Night Vision potions? I'll deliver 'em to your work site if you want me to and have some coordinates handy. I figure they'd really come in handy with megabuilds like yours where the enormous roofs can make it hard to work even in daylight.

Somehow, I ended up with a glytched bonemeal in my inventory. I have no idea how it happened. It appears to be just a single bonemeal, but not matter how many times I use it, it never seems to be consumed. My guess is that its count somehow got corrupted to -1 and now it will keep counting down forever.

I stole a potato from a zombie, and I have been using my magic bonemeal to leave behind scattered patches of potatoes on the shorelines as I make the long trek from The Mighty Mooshroom Kingdom all the way back to Mt. James
