TMC you'll be happy to know that I finally updated my coastlines to make them look a bit more natural. Thanks for the suggestion.



Also updated the forest battle backdrop to match the others.

That is an excellent battle background. I have to say, this game looks like it's really coming along. Looking forward to playing the updated version.

They don't scroll across the screen but they do move some.

And thanks for the kind words crow tongue. I'm hoping that people really enjoy all this new stuff I will be adding and the changes I've made to old content.

Ladies and gents, I present to you the Mezzo Bog. This is the first completely new map beyond the released Ruin demo and the second completely new map added since The Omega.

The Mezzo Bog is a swamp-like map that houses a fort that was used by a kingdom (which you will discover in-game) before the massive earthquake. A group of thieves and bandits moved in shortly after the tremors subsided, and it currently serves as their "capital", so to speak. The bandits in the Mezzo Bog have a lot of tie-ins with the city of Apec (formerly Jersey in The Omega).

Ruin0002

The team must travel through the Mezzo Bog to continue the story, but the fort section is completely optional. Without spoiling too much, you can be rewarded handsomely by the citizens of Apec should you take the time to traverse its walls.

This is my first ever stab at a swamp-like map, and I'm pretty excited about it. On the outside it will feature revamped mobs from the Omega, as well as some bandits. On the inside will be a boss that you have seen before in Ruin, but that's all I will say!

One can tell it's got to be drastically image heavy if you note that the thread itself is image heavy.
