How did you learn?

My game is named Grayscale, appropriately named for its graphics.

True indeed that transferring pencil-and-paper drawing skills to computer is hard, but it's not impossible. Basically, for OHR graphics, you need to change the way you approach the art. Which... admittadly, isn't a whole lot of advice to go on, but still...
