In an effort to make my games more accessible to general audiences (and more ethical to commercial artists), I have decided to replace the unlicensed songs from Tightfloss Maiden and Entrepreneur: The Beginning with tracks designed exclusively for the games. After doing some research on synchronization licenses, I've decided that whatever it would cost to acquire the rights to use them is probably way more than I have, and I'm beginning to think the artistic appropriateness of the songs I'm using to enhance the stories isn't really worth the price. So, I'm going to remove those songs and hopefully replace them with songs exclusive to the games. This means two things:
1.) I need someone to compose a special ethereal dreamlike song for the end theme of Tightfloss Maiden. If you're interested, it should be about 3:36 in length (or as close as you can get it to that length). If you already have a copy of TFMaiden on your harddrive, use the song that's already in place during the end credits as your guidepost. I've already got a music man for Entrepreneur, so I should be covered there.
2.) I'll be taking both games down until their music needs are filled. If you want to see Tightfloss Maiden back online anytime soon, volunteer to make its new end theme song (in MP3 format). Entrepreneur will probably stay down until I've squashed most of its bugs; as of tomorrow you all had two years to play it anyway.
Seriously, I could use a hand here. If you have a band, or the ability to play dreamlike music (similar to the song already in place), or access to a female singer, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks for your help.
