Still stuck on script. I'm going to make it a point to work on this each evening next week...

I've got a half dozen walkabouts and a dozen tiles, most of the tiles being meant to be layered. I doubt even more than before that I'll make something suitably lengthy in time.

Okay, so, it's starting to become clear just how unlikely my presentation is. My film is still in preproduction, for crying out loud, and I've been overcome by some kind of illness that's screwing with my schedule. The odds are against me and it'll be a dad-gum miracle if I can finish by the deadline.

But I'm not giving up, because mine is a story that must be shared, and I'm going to keep working until it's done, no matter how long it takes.
If nothing else, I hope that the remaining filmmakers do their best and make neat films for the festival. Keep up the work, guys!

Bumblewheat?? That is one ridiculous name.

(And of course, the white 20x20 square isn't there in the actual movie-game... that's where the main character goes, and I'm not revealing who that is this early.)

Well, I still haven't had any progress, thanks to school and visiting family. If I don't have enough time to meet the deadline, it'll get shelved until I can do it properly. Rather than a separate film, my project might just be the intro for The End of Eternity Fragment, and I'll wrap up the whole thing as one release.

That's cool. How are you other people doing? Deadline is this Saturday 11:59 PM. To get everything voted on and tallied and make a custom cover for Hamster Speak and get everything ready for it, we can't offer a deadline extension.

It is something like 13 seconds long, and I never got as far as the first line of dialog (which I would have voiced)

Holy crap! That was so neat! I really wish you could have squeezed out at least 2 minutes. Really remarkable dude! From the entrants released, the entry I'm working on, and the one that Frrnf is working on, we should barely be able to get to 5. Anybody else looking to submit? There's still time to conjure up 2 minutes of footage/gameplay.

I might be able to get two minutes done, but my concept was more like 5-10. If the deadline is Saturday night, I'll try to have something to show.

Uh... nope. Lost immediate motivation, but will complete it later. For the sake of uploading something, though, I shall upload the basic 1minute-ish piece I have done, complete with an empty church.

Why a church? Watch it to see. I hope people get it...

Super Walrus Land: Mouth Words Edition

My contest entry was dead in the water ever since that stomach bug went around town. Put a big hole in my creativity, haven't come up with any good ideas since then. But, if nothing else, maybe I can draw some storyboard scenes to hype my film's possible eventual completion several months down the road. I'm out of the contest, of course.
