hello and welcome!
if you have any questions concerning game making, don't be afraid to ask. if you look around, you'll find threads that other people have made, including myself, asking questions that are promptly answered by others in the community.
that said, feel free to try and open other people's games using CUSTOM. some people, also including myself, leave their games editable and also include the script files to help newbie programmers get the ball rolling. in fact, Vikings of Midgard is included with the OHR for that purpose.
anyway, have fun with it!

thanks a lot for the words of wisdom, I have been working on a little game for awhile know and I cant wait to put some screenshots of it up sooner or later!

Of all the things I regret, putting a password on both my released games is the biggest.
In other news I might also suggest that you check out HamsterSpeak magazine by Surlaw, read some reviews, check out the tutorials (I did one on doing the FF4/5/6 style title screen about half a year ago (possibly longer, I need to do some more soon :S)).
Anyway welcome! And I'll just echo that we'll not bite, so feel free to ask some questions.
