Hmm... I'm probably going to enter something in this. Not sure what yet, but hopefully Okédoké will already be done by the time 2012 rolls around... so most likely something other than Okédoké.
Not making any new official rules at this point, but I feel inclined to limit the rereleased entries to one HotOHR contest appearance only. In other words, games like Okédoké and Vikings of Midgard have been around for awhile now, have seen contests come and go, and I'm becoming less thrilled with the idea of seeing the same game entering contest after contest, especially when the new contest is the same contest. Again, I'm not calling this a rule at this time, but there's a good chance it will become one, so you may want to lean more on Puckamon or Alleghany for the 2012 contest, even if Okédoké is still (heaven forbid) unfinished. Personally, I'd rather see Alleghany since it's new and one I've been waiting to see for awhile.
If it does become a rule, I want to make it clear that it will only apply to the Heart of the OHR 2010 rereleases. Motrya, Viridia, and all the other new releases are still eligible for rerelease in 2012. Just be aware that if any of those enter the 2012 contest, they would not be eligible for the 2014 or 2015 (haven't decided when HotOHR 3 will start) contest under this potential rule.
Sound off. Good idea or bad idea?

We are still new to building games. Cait and the Dragon have only two to three possible directions they can take that would make a great differences to the outcome. Is this enough to make this RPG?
Probably. My stance on the matter is for you to make the game, release it during the contest window (or rerelease it if you post a version of it online beforehand), and if it's eligible it will earn a spot in the contest. If it isn't, you'll have about six months to figure out what it still needs if you want it to become eligible.
Hope that helps somewhat.
