Currently when you use the autosort function in-game, it sorts your items according to their number in editing mode. Unless you planned out ahead what items you were going to put in your game and how you would sort them, the way the items get sorted can look kind of random.
Do any of you think it might be a good idea to have a general bitset to sort items alphabetically or some other way? Or even a bitset to remove the autosort function completely? What do you think?
Yeah, the current autosort puts usable-out-of-battle items at the top and then puts everything else into the first empty slot it finds. At least, I can't seem to see any other pattern to what it does with the other items.
It'd be pretty useful to be able to customize the order stuff is arranged in, rather than just picking alphabetical or number order, since the little icons in front of item names usually aren't put into the font in the order that they're supposed to be arranged by in the item menu.

But they work for that purpose - you sort all the potions together, etc.
