Yes, it's possible. You will need to use plotscripting and do one of the following:
- Create a palette for every possible combination of colors.
- Reserve colors in your palette for exclusive use with each hero. You may need to dedicate a significant portion of your palette depending on how many colors you're using.
Short answer: More trouble than it's worth.
