Ok... I have a problem.
When I pick, oh Lionel- (Class1)
I don't know how you can make it so that you can't pick
Lionel- (Class2)
Lionel- (Class3)
etc., etc.
And I have this problem for each of my seperate characters.

Well use tags.

I'm not sure how you're selecting classes and/or characters, but you should be able to turn tags on when you select a class and then have the appearance of the other classes for the character be dependent on the tag being on/off.

well... I have it so each character has 8 choices
so, thirty-two choices.
all are on a map- only one.
should I change that fact?
I mean, make four seperate maps? One for each character?

And on this map.. you use the choices as NPC's?

If this is the case you could have using each npc set a tag and have them only appear if that tag is off.

I'm having a hard time understanding what you're asking honestly. I'd have to see the game or something to really help.
Sorry.

I think I know what you mean; I'll upload an example file of how to do what you want without any plotscripts, I'll edit this post once it's up.

EDIT:

Example File for You!

I hope that this is what you meant; this one only has 8 characters total; but the same formula can be applied to more than that.
