THE CAMPAIGN: Chapter 1-"The Dragons in the Desert"

The party mills around for a bit, trying to decide where they should go next. They know a fire will attract the attention of the templars, or even a high templar, so they must move soon. They rummage through the belongs of what used to be ratmen as they think, and Ehaism considers eating. They seem to agree that some sort of temple or INN ( like the one they behind ) would be their best bet. All they need do is decide.

Ehaism is distinctly uncomfortable with the idea of going inside the inn they are standing behind. After all, this is Rabid Claw Gang Territory, they just massacred seven Rabid Claw Gang members, and somebody from the inn might notice that there are seven dead rat men (and a few hundred dead rats) in the alley, and that four shadey looking characters, two of which who were splattered with blood, just checked in to the inn.. and they smelled like smoke. And the back of our building is on fire!

Ehaism thinks it would be better to go and find a different inn (or temple), so he starts to walk in a random direction (roughly towards the shadow of Lord Neil's tower), and glances back to see if anybody is following him.

Vire's experience with Ehaism is enough to know better than to argue with him. Ehaism seems to have a destination in mind, so Vire takes up pace behind him, his eyes keeping active watch for other pursuers.

The first temple the party comes across has a large symbol above the door.

The sign says, Temple of the Many. The building looks rather new.

Ehaism does a quick silent prayer begging Itovic for forgiveness in going into a temple other than her own.

And then he walks right in.

Kytana silently follows, but only for the women... maybe clerics, if one of them is a woman.

Vire glances at the emblem on the temple. He can't shake the feeling that there's something wrong with this picture, but his mind is preoccupied puzzling over his new treasure anyway.

Upon entering, you are greeted by an Orc man in priestly garments,



You see 2 other orcs, one male, one female, in less impressive priest gowns. The temple seems very plain, and almost very new. There's a large altar in the middle of the room, and a door on both the left and right, as well as the door you came in.

He leads yous to the door on the right. Behind it is a room full of baskets, and white robes.

Echo gives Vire and Kytana a suspicious scowl which means:



Ehaism follows the orc priest

Vire barks something at Ehaism in Draconic.

Let me go - I don't mind being disarmed. You should keep your weapon.
