THE CAMPAIGN: Chapter 1-"The Dragons in the Desert"

Everyone's a jerk today!

Ribbon just rolls her eyes and trudges off in the direction of the dragon

Ribbon:
Ribbon approaches the downed black dragon. The dragon is huge. Shallow breathes reveal that it is in fact not dead, but merely unconscious. While noticing the breathing, Ribbon also notices a gold chain around the dragon's neck with some sort of charm barely visible underneath the mass of the dragon.

After staring at how awesome the dragon was for a while, Ribbon suddenly realizes everyone's waiting on her to do something, and tries to see what's on the pendant without touching it or the dragon.

Ehaism drinks a little water and eats a little rations, and tries to make himself comfortable.



Then to Kytana:

Ribbon noticed that the part of the pendant that can be seen, resembles a sword hilt.

kytana wrote:

Ribbon tries to get a closer look

Ribbon wrote:

Dragon? Are you okay?

Ehaism scowls at Kytana. Looks like he won't be able to provoke the silent halfling into entertaining him. He tries Vire instead.



Ehaism suddenly remembers that he and Vire had previously agreed that the map was a useless bunch of scribbles. He hopes that Vire had forgotten that conversation. Without even waiting for Vire's response, Ehaism begins scowling at him.

Rotten Kobold, thinks he is so smart...

Ribbon:
No response. The pendant is definitely the hilt of a sword. Most likely the rest of the pendant/sword lies under the dragon.

kytana motions to Ehaism and whispers to him:

Ribbon gets the weird feeling, like one of her party members is in the wrong place. Worried, she heads back to the other three, who are nowhere near the dragon

Ribbon walks up to the party

The dragon moves in the distance. Ribbon breathes a sigh of relief having choosen wisely. It gets up and flies off. The party stands stunned at what could have been a tragic event.
Exhausted, the party gathers around the wagon and camps for the night. Their mysterious journey should be nearing it's end tomorrow if the dwarf's information was right.

The night passes uneventfully.

The party packs up and starts out on the final leg off their journey.

Ehaism had a bad dream about dragons. Kytana was riding on one and laughing at him as he flew around. This makes him uncomfortable about what happened last night, and so as they start moving again, he grills Ribbon for more information about what happened the night before.
