Oh, that screenshot is a bit old. You start at 15 now. It was a typo to begin with. Oh and thanks for the palette compliment.

Here's some more pics everyone.

Nice graphics; especially the towns. Reminds me of the 8-bit Final Fantasies, but with more variety in the colors. So basically a lot like FF4, but with a better palette.

I really like the barrels, for some reason.

The battle background could use a bit more texture on the grass part, though. Looks a little odd that the town and world map tiles have more detail in the grass but then the battle screenshot (where everything else seems more "zoomed in") has just a big field of solid blue-green instead.

I'm guessing the difference in HP between the characters is a "still testing everything out" kind of thing? Because having one guy with 15 and another into the mid-hundreds at the same point in the game seems like a really huge gap...

He doesn't stay in your party very long and he's optional. I'm basically making him the tutorial.

Meh. Zombie

My game's gonna suck in comparison, assuming I ever complete it.

Awww... Don't say that. Your game will be different and new. I mean, I'm sure my game will suck in comparison to a lot of games too.

Dude, this looks awesome. I really like the art style and the palette is nice too. Makes me want to work on the remake of my long lost OHR game as well.

Why thank you. Always happy to hear that I'm inspiring.

Oh, and i fixed the battle background, or rather I choose one of the other backgrounds I had made and couldn't decide on which one to use.

Let's meet the characters, here's Biff.

He's a One Eyed Orc who's just joined the Monster Hunter's Guild.

..and Here's Guy

He's a Monster Hunter's Guild veteran who's going to show Biff the ropes. (if Biff's willy that is.)
You might remember Guy from such titles as House Escape, Automagically! Bizzaro Carnival in Salad Kingdom,The KER-saders (DEMO)(where his name was KER-),and even Turkey Killer (where he dressed up like a pilgrim)
Guy wasn't in my original game, but I put him in to serve as an extra party member when you'd normally only have one, and to help people who might struggle with the game at first.

OMG!
When did OHR add more NPC ID's!!!
What's the max now? I only tested till 205.

This makes me want to work on Tim-Tim 2 sooooo badly now, but it's also forcing me to finish my HotOHR game. Oh cruel fate... Tim-Tim 2 can finally continue production but I have 2 projects ahead of it.

Well, Legendary Heroes is looking good. I'm hoping to have a demo ready soon, but I'll likely wait till sometime close to the deadline. I've got alot of content but I'm missing some very important things, like dialog scripts, and monster balance.

The second project ahead of Tim-Tim 2. Is Tim-Tim 1. Makes since right?
I've begun work on a port of Tim-Tim "The Mighty Gnome" for the Xbox 360's Indie game market. I plan to fix ALL of the things people complained about and add new and exciting stuff in too. I'd post a screenshot but I'm actually having trouble with running the game on my computer, ( My computer is terrible btw. ) and taking screenshots on my xbox doesn't seem to work right. I'm sure I could get it working if I worked with it a bit more, but it's a pretty low priority. (sorry)

So after those 2 things are done, work will continue on the game I'm most excited about making, Tim-Tim 2: A gnome to the past.

The NPC Definition limit is 500 now. It could go even higher in the future. See your entry at HeartBugs

Oh, weird... why 500? Seems like an odd number to pick. But it's probably enough for my uses. I only requested the limit be 2000 because 200 seemed like it might have been low. So even if you don't end up raising it any more, consider the HeartBug done. Feel free to raise it in the future at your leisure.

Legendary Heroes is uploaded and ready to play.

Despite the amount of time I had to work on it, it's terribly short. I just didn't get certain things together in time.

I plan to work on it in the future, and complete it before another 10 years goes by. In all likely hood, it'll be less than a couple of months before it's ready for a huge update.

For now, I'm turning my focus to Tim-Tim for the xbox indie game arcade. Wish me luck.
