I'm hoping to get a thread started for coffee enthusiasts. Different beans, flavors, brewing styles, and the like.
I'm currently drinking a heart stopping concoction of Seattle's best Cinnibon, Hershey's chocolate, and hazelnut flavor. 5/8th's coffee, strong brew, 3/8th's 2% milk, additives adjusted for my taste.
I can't drink coffee, but I love the smell of it. The taste just offends me. I've tried all kinda of varieties, black, sugary sweet, everything. Doesn't work for me.
I love tea though. Homemade thai tea is da bomb, with just a smidge of milk and sugar. Iced is even better.

I rarely drink coffee. But when I do, i enjoy it. My favorite coffee is when it is really late at night and I am out somewhere, and somebody I know hands me their mostly-full lukewarm coffee, and they are like "can you hold this for me while I go to [thing which is difficult to do while holding coffee]" and so I hold it for like 10 minutes, and it smells nice, and I am so sleepy, and I am like "yeah, they aren't coming back for this anyway" so I down it all at once, and sometimes it tastes okay, and sometimes it tastes nasty, and it is always cold, but it tastes sooooo good not be cause it is good, but because it is stolen.
Also, in related news, GLOW, if you haven't played it yet, you would like Entreprenuer: the Beginning. it is coffeetastic.

I can barely stand the taste of black coffee - I drink it like medicine, see? Only when I'm desperate for energy, because I detest energy drinks.
But hey, what would you suggest to help me ease into the taste of coffee? Milk? Sugar? Eggs? Bacon? Anything that I don't need to pick up at Starbucks is A-OK with me.
EDIT: Funny story! My first cup of coffee in years came during my Junior year of High School, where I drank it straight from the pot.
I drank it on Monday. It was brewed on Friday.
I was rrreeeeeeeeeellling during English that morning.

I've been a daily drinker (sometimes more than once in the day, especially for late night studying) since I was 10. Needless to say, I like coffee.
Maybe half coffee/half milk or creamer with some sugar or sweetener? I think that's what I got started on when I was a kid.

I went from not drinking coffee to being semi-addicted. I love the Tim Horton's Vanilla Ice Cappuccino. I prefer sweet, but I can have whatever.
PS. If you like black coffee, try Spanish Coffee. A bunch of latinos made a brew at camp a few years back, and I made a cup without checking for sugar. Turns out, there was none, so I had some of the blackest coffee ever.
Was good, though...

It's getting really hard for me to tell the difference between spambots and people who speak English poorly.
Someone once gave me the idea of a forum occupied entirely by spambots, constantly talking between each other and advertising their weird crap. If intelligence suddenly appears in computers, it will be because of Spambots.
