Correct backend for seamless music looping

Okay, I know I asked before, but I can't seem to find the thread, so I'll ask again.

Which backend should I download to allow music without any set loop points to loop seamlessly back to the beginning of the song? Or do I have to manually input "loop back to the beginning" markers? Either way, which backend can manage it without a 'hiccup' in the flow of the song?

Thanks so much in advance. I hate that I have to ask this again because I forgot the answer and can't find the original post. sigh

music_native should loop with no gap. It is also the only backend that supports any kind of loop points.

music_sdl will support seamless looping too, but not until we figure out how to get the latest sdl_mixer.dll rebuild with the right options.
