I was wondering how to make the game work to where when I enter a battle a certain sound effect will be played by a monster, one effect per monster.
Is there a way to do this easily?

hmmm

you could possably use the counter stat as a "fake mp", give each enemy 1 counter, make each sound cost 1 counter, so that way they will use up the counter point and play the sound.

Im not sure if that would actually work though... Theory.

Someone come up with a better idea Gonk
Blip.

Using the counter stat is unreliable, I'm quite certain it can't be used as "fake MP" since it can easily become negative, and therefore a Counter-usage attack would continually drain from nothing.

Here's an interesting idea you may wish to try. Create fake versions of your enemies that have almost no HP and maximum Speed. Give them one attack that plays the sound you want, then have said attack kill the enemy that used it. Finally, make the fake enemy spawn the real enemy right on top of itself when it dies.

Spawning might make enemies appear where they're not supposed to, though, so you may opt to use the new Enemy Transmogrifier attack setting. I can't elaborate on that, though, since I've never used it.
