I'm not sure if there is a pre-built Pac Man-ish script or not, but it can be made.

Honestly though, your best bet would be to request help and make the script yourself. That way, you will know how it works, and how to properly implement it into your game.

You can also try and get a partner to help you, but they'd probably like to know more about yourself and your intentions before making any firm commitment.

That's not really like Pac-Man at all.

Anyway, you don't need a script to do that. Set the NPC's activation to "on step" and make it disappear once collected.

Actually, in Baconthulhu, the money is not NPCs. The money is maptiles in layer 1 (the map itself being in layer 0)

There is an each-step script that uses the "read map block" and "write map block" commands to pick up the money.

The game I made that's named after myself ( Spoonweaver) uses the same thing James. Maptiles instead of npc's. Was the easiest way to make them always on the bottom. Looks weird when the bad guys crawl under the collectibles.

Anyways, it's open source, meaning the script is included in .txt form. Help yourself.

Why would you want to do anything based on Pac-Man mechanics in the OHRRPGCE? Unless it's a minigame, in which case ignore the following advice.
If you just want to make a clone, use Game Maker; Pac-Man and its related programming happens to be included with a bundle of four or so demonstration games.
