I haven't made any game play, but I'm making progress on the technical details of the game so I can get started.
<TheGiz> oh hai doggy, oh no that's the straw that broke tjhe came baclsb
After some rough starts and stops, I'm breezing through this. I have a working demo with 2 complete levels, and a complete working series of scripts that track every NPC.
To friends long gone, and those I've yet to meet - thank you.
Music - 50% (picked out, but I haven't recorded it yet)
SFX - 50% (same deal)
Walkabouts - 100%
Heroes - 100%
Attacks - 100%
Tiles - 80-100% (pretty sure Wiz has finished everything we need, but you never know)
Maps - 10%
Story - 90%
Scripting - 95% (in case I forgot something in the engine)
So, most of the work left is just Wiz finishing up whatever tiles we need and then we have to put maps together.
I most seriously doubt that I'll be able to finish within the deadline, but it's another worthy project to to add to my growing gaming queue. ♪♪♪ Du du duuuu ♪♪♪
Concerning hosting the entries for the voting phase, would you guys rather me host them remotely from my website or would you like for me to submit them bundled on CP and on here? Perhaps you have a better suggestion than those two?
I don't really like the idea of having my entry bundled. Why can't we just all upload them to our preferred places and then just provide urls like in every other contest?
Oh, and I think I can muster a good 10 level demo by tomorrow night. I got 6 so far.

This is my first contest, so I wouldn't know what the norm is.
That works for me though. Just make sure they are up by 11:59PM tomorrow night and I have a copy of the URL sent via PM.
