NICE! lol. I like your style, Bluetrain.


OK! OHR game developers that would like to hear some music written for their stuff, can you drop a line here in this format?

Game: "Name of Your Game" (Must be something you have finished or have a demo of)
Character/Scene: "Character Name or Scene from the Game that you'd like to have fresh music for" (Describe scene if needed)
General Mood: "Give an idea of the feel you'd like to have" (Menacing, sad, happy... nothing too detailed. gotta let the composers have a lil fun. ;) )


Developers, you'll have until Wednesday of next week to get these suggestions in.

Composers, you don't HAVE to choose from these, but I think it'd be pretty advisable to do so since it's all about collaboration. After the developers get their suggestions in, I'll post the EXACT rules and you can decide what you want to write for!

I could use a victory theme for Phantom Tactics. I wrote all the rest of the music in the game, but the victory music is from Wild ARMs.

Game: Tightfloss Maiden

Character/Scene: The introduction sequence

General Mood: Something that begins with isolation and despair, moves toward a painful awakening, and slowly builds into a state of courage, vengeance, and more isolation. Should also be desert appropriate and as exotic as possible. But have fun with it!!!

Sorry. This is my fault for not mentioning it. If your game isn't listed in the gamelist on Slime Salad, could you please provide a link in the "Game" part of your request.

This will make it easier for composers to find and check out the character/scene in your game if they have not yet done so already. Thanks!

anyone feelin froggy should think about making a theme for Genesis! we still need a theme for Fanell, the first town in the game. it's a small town tucked away in the woods. not really sweet or super happy go lucky, just like a naturey/majestic sounding town theme.

Hi, Blue Train. You CAN submit whenever you want, but i mean you still have another week from wednesday. Actually, if you don't mind, I'd prefer it if you held your submission until I post for music entries, since we are still in the music request stage for game developers. This should also give you time to put in any vocals and fine tune everything if you'd like. ^_^ Thanks.

(And in case anyone is wondering who is a composer and developer, yes you can submit a music request and a music submission. You just can't submit a piece to your own music request.)

Character/Scene: "First Boss Fight" Fighting the Cadaverous Curse, a giant deformed creature with blades for kneecaps and one huge eye and a gaping wound in its chest.
General Mood: Menacing, intense, and life threatening. Original song used was "War Ensemble" by Slayer, to get the idea of what sort of mood the song would have.

Tracks are due one week from today! (Since this week was for requests from developers)

Composers, now it's your turn! As soon as you can, please post, on this thread, which request(s) you PLAN on writing music for. Final pieces are due Thursday Nov. 19.

You can write for more than one if you wish. (So if you want to do something different, you can. But PLEASE do something for these awesome developers!)

I did a track for James. It's not exactly what he requested but I think he will be okay with that. So should I post it now or do I have to wait until Tuesday?

EDIT: Okay. Rereading your posts, I think it is okay for me to post this now. (Sorry for being so Hurr about the rules here.) I got REALLY nerdy on this track. But in a good way. I think.
