I saw the typo after it was all uploaded, go figure, heh.

Glad you liked it though dude. I'd say it'll be really interesting to see who wins this whole thing.

You really captured what makes the Slime King unique while giving him your own personal spin; I'm impressed. Smile

Thanks a lot, man. I do try to do the characters the most justice I can.

But since you saw it, you have to vote, haha.

Yeah, the Slime King was pretty much the best part of the episode.

Hey, I think maybe cause everyone was off on Memorial Day weekend or whatever, but so far this has been a record-low for votes. I have literally, one vote for this episode. I think fifteen or so people downloaded it, so if you did, you should vote, since this is the last episode and everything.

This is the most crucial week of all them to vote. You have until June 1st to cast your votes. This is to find out who is the OHR HOUSE HERO!

Eep! When I read that the first time I thought it said "July 1st"

That's pretty awesome Fen. Votes are slowly trickling in. If I don't get a decent amount come Monday, I will extend it to til after the 8-bit contest.

I've officially extended voting to the end of this week, this Sunday the 7th, when the 8-bit contest is over. I will be starting the conclusion the 8th (Monday) and the 7th is the absolute latest you can vote.

Please vote as soon as possible. I have 5 total votes right now, and would like it to be better. Alot of the people who have voted throughout the show have voted yet, and some of you who commented (Fortis, I'm looking at you), haven't voted.

If you don't feel like PMing the votes to me you can reply-vote, I don't care. I'd prefer private messages though.

Well, this is triple posting, but I don't really care...

I have not gotten a single new vote for the show. It's gotten like 20 something downloads since it was released half a month ago. I know some of you have watched it, you're just choosing not to vote. I'm still waiting until the end of tomorrow for any new votes I may get.

It's not too late at all. So please vote.

I know I'm terrible...

But it's been nearly 5 months, and finally, the FINALE IS RELEASED.

There's also 4 new bonus features added to the game. And an autosave feature implemented. So for any new players, as you watch, some episodes have things that are unlocked as you go. For instance, after watching Week 2, you will have unlocked 2 more character bios. Surlaw has created one new hidden extra, and so has Moogle1 so be sure and check em' out.

For all returning viewers, when you finish watching the finale, EVERYTHING will be unlocked.

Enjoy! Everything is done, it's 100%, no furthur changes are going to be made. If anyone finds anything "game-breaking" let me know, otherwise, this is the real deal.

All feedback is greatly appreciated! It's not everyday I finish a project.

This is, without a doubt, OHR game of the year 2009. The extra content is FANTASTIC - enough to justify full games on their own. I'm amazed by the sheer volume of work and dedication you, Surlaw, James, and Moogle put into this and it shows. Well played gentlemen, but especially you Red, who put this together and kept your course to the end!

Everyone who hasn't seen this needs to see it. Grin

And everyone who voted (1) on this is a liar who hates games. Mad

Thoughts on the finale

-The voice acting added a lot to it. It would have been better if the music in these scenes were much quieter, but other than that it all worked.
-The final Vlad and Slither fights are extremely well animated.
-The bonuses rule
-The credits are my favorite in an OHR game

Also, if anyone wants to discuss my SECRET GAME I'll be posting a thread about it on my forum.

Well done, Red. This was worth the wait.

The voice acting for Vlad was excellent (I may have to contact that guy for some of my own voice work). And I can see myself spending a few hours playing the bonuses. A lot of fun. Housemaster got me on the first Gohrillas playthrough, and Senor Death beat me at Super Surlaw Chef. But I'll play again. These were great. And the artwork reminded me of Gilbert's games. This was the first great community influenced and community supported game that I can remember. Not to take anything away from House 3, since that, too, was spectacular. But I definitely think the community's heart was in this one as much as you put your own into it. Great work.

Now finish Halloween Quest 3. This show has proven that you can make something visually awesome (and finish it). So do it.

All of your feedback has been great. I really appreciate it. The fact that you said the final update was worth the wait, just kinda makes it all worth it.

I'm going to be putting together a special DVD box for House Heroes, and maybe some other cheap stuff I'll make on cafepress.com, or maybe do it myself if I can. If anyone is interested, I can make these for you, for cost.

I originally wanted a ton of unlockable content, but the more I playtested the game, the more I thought, that any more than I already had would take away from the main show itself. I think it's a healthy balance as is. And everything that is extra is totally different.

I'm glad you guys are enjoying it though. Thank you.
