So, how many do YOU think will be done by the deadline?

Oh, hey! I hope this compo can get you to do more work on Olmin.

I won't, of course. But the deadline has been pushing me to do actual work. I want to have even a five-minute demo by the deadline. I probably won't release it (who wants to play a five-minute demo), but it's a goal to aspire to.

Actually, I'd like to play a 5 minute demo.
When a contest ends and there's a flood of new games it's nice when some of them are short.

It's starting to look like Okédoké won't be done before the contest ends, between my laziness and school getting ready to start up again... but at least I've got one new chapter done already.

I'll probably have Chapter 5 done before it's over, and maybe even start on Chapter 6, though I really doubt I'll have enough time to finish the whole thing.

I doubt the majority of entries will be 100% completed by the deadline (unless they were short or almost done already). But hey, I made a lot of progress. I may continue my "do something every day" thread until it's done, unless college turns out to be crazy.

But man, I've always been so quality centric, so I've been going too slowly. I may have to stop trying so hard and skip to immediately playable stuff.

Due to personal things coming up, it's looking like if I only got one thing finished, it'd be House Heroes, and that's very close to being done. I just have to find time to do it now.

Everything else, there's not enough time or energy for to have done on time.

I've hardly touched Entrepreneur: The Beginning since June. Been meaning to, but I've been playing catchup with that other game of gigantic proportions so much that I sort of brushed everything else aside.

As a side note, I'm two weeks away from hitting the two-year anniversary of weekly progress reports for Powerstick Man. Just celebrated the centennial week a couple weeks ago and I still can't believe that I kept it going for so long (or that I'm still not anywhere close to finishing it). I thought I'd burn out after two weeks. A hundred weeks later my MIA playtesters and I are still going strong.

I thought about posting the 100-week progress report on Slime Salad, but wasn't sure how many people would be interested in something like that. Anyone curious?

I'm more curious about Powerstick man, then I am about some of the other progress reports on here... ( ...not to name any names )

There are really only two progress report threads that stuck it out to this point.

Since I released v1.1 after the contest already began, I suppose it counts a little better than v1.0? Although 0.64 is a better comparable version.
