*I* have to walk sixteen miles through waist-deep snow (up hill both ways!) while carrying all my younger siblings on my shoulders and being trailed by a pack of ravenous wolves, just so I can spend a few minutes a day tinkering with Wandering Hamster.

You gol-darn whippersnappers have it easy these days with your "school" and "moving", and "girlfriends"

Spoonweaver, what have we learned about telling people who think their games are substandard to submit them anyway.

Made a bit more progress. Starmap, plus "lego" ships which are made from several prebuilt pieces.





Should I just start a separate thread for the game?

Everyone else is doing it!

If you plan on posting often, then a new thread is the way to go. I find that keeping a running log of my progress is motivational, even when no one comments on it. (I'll split off the relevant posts if you'd like.)

I am intrigued by the "lego ships." Will the player be able to design his own ships or is the modularity more for your convenience?

So, from the games I've seen, the competition is going to be pretty rough. So many good games. And here I thought, I'd win any contest I entered slimes into for sure. I might just have to, dare I say it, work harder!

I tried it on Linux using Wine, and bafflingly it runs, but everything is ndsıpǝpoʍu¡ so looks like here is another reason I need to dig up a windows box :)

First off, hi, welcome.

Second, your game's really great. I downloaded it on a whim and beat it just now.

I did think it was odd that the game ends shortly after you break the book of laws -- it feels like there should be a longer lead up to the ending. On the other hand, that scene is the hardest in the game, so what do I know.

Any tips on the secrets?
