I jut realized I have no idea where my charger is and my DS battery is almost dead.
I guess I would've noticed earlier if I'd touched either since July.
There's a special rare Pichu available this week and I think next that does something in HeartGold/SoulSilver. Anyone else gonna jump on this? I'm picking up two today with Platinum and Diamond.
I don't understand how this thing is going to be helpful in the new/old game at all. It's just a shiny Pichu with pretty decent moves. It's holding an Everstone, which is pretty common in all Pokemeon games.

It's bizarre now that I think on it. These movie promo 'mons used to be highly coveted due to being legendary or knowing special moves, i.e. Jirachi from the Wish Maker or Spacial Rend Giratina from a more recent film.
And all of a sudden the promos are mostly to completely useless in the metagame. I mean, TWO Pichus? One's shiny, the other has a notched ear, but neither of them have a hope of being at all useful.
ALSO, I'm pretty sure the Celebi-related promo doesn't actually get you a Celebi, or anything for that matter except a story and a battle.
I just read that at the main Pokemon website about what lame crap you do with this Pichu.
Also, did anyone by chance get extra of the Promo Pokemon last year? I got 2 Pichu's today since I have Diamond and Pearl. Did anyone by chance get a 2nd Arceus or whatever it is? I'd also be down for a battle or something. Did anyone also get multiples of any other legendaries they'd be down for trading? Like Jirachi or that Shaymin thing?
So has anyone else gotten to the point where they can construct their own Safari Zone?
This is just the most fun thing ever, my favorite new feature in HGSS by far. As I get more items to put in the park, I'm reminded of how over-the-top excited I was when I messed with Brawl's custom stages.
I've just gotten to Ecruteak City (Sp?). Clocked 25 hours mostly devoted to Voltorb Flip and breeding. This game is great; combines everything I liked about G/S and D/P. I'm taking it slow, just like I did the first time I played the game.
If anyone wants to trade stuff with me I'm game. Not interested in competitive battling on the carts, but I'd be happy to Shoddybattle.

That game is so addictive. Why? Because it's winnable!
I still think it was silly for them to remove the slot machines because it's gambling and gambling is bad mmkay but I'm not complaining. Logic-based games are more fun than luck-based ones, I think.
I'm working on developing my party now. I've beaten all 16 gyms, and am not quite strong enough to defeat Red, but I'm getting there. Got 2 holes to fill to get my ultimate party ready.
I mmmmiiiight just leave all the competitive stuff on my Diamond game, where I actually invested a good deal of time to making awesome, thematic teams.
My top stars there are defensive Dusknoir, offensive Starmie, and choice Togekiss.
My favorite, though, would be a color-coded team I made based on the Axem Rangers from Super Mario RPG.
