I think Snake is there for the same reason Game & Watch was in the last game, and that Jigglypuff was in the one before. He's a character noone could possibly care about, put there as a punching bag for all the good characters.

Wow. All of those videos are amazing! It looks like this game is going to be totally worth the wait for sure. Hopefully since they got it in Japan our release date can't be pushed back any furthur.

Jigglypuff has always been a deadly character in the right hands and Game & Watch was one of the better Melee characters. I don't understand how you could honestly think that no one cares about Snake. I hope the post was a joke.
