One of my co-workers thinks it's cute to say that Jigglypuff won't be in the new Brawl. I ask him where he heard this, and he says since they didn't announce her, she won't be in it. I told him to don't say stupid things then, wait until Brawl comes out before you go mouthing off.

And they better still give her/he/it the same alternate costumes as before. Cause well, nothing on Melee can stop "Karate" Jigglypuff.
I'm sure they will, and then some. The best part will be kicking butt while looking cuter than ever! Hahahaha! I think a sunglasses costume would be pretty rad, Jigglyshades. :P Or maybe an angel/devil puff?
EDIT: Is that picture from Brawl?
Yeah... I mean, I want the game now, but at the same time I want it the best it can be. This gives them time to maybe add in a few more characters, levels, who knows. But at the same time, man, it sucks getting all excited about this game, and the release date gets so close, and BAM! They push it back a lil bit furthur.

Anyway. I'd rather wait a few months and get the extra polish.

There is no polish. The game is complete, and the copies were made weeks ago, ready to distribute. This delay is entirely a marketing decision (I would imagine to build hype even further).

Someone said that Nintendo could be tweaking the Nintendo WiFi network a bit more, as to handle a large burst of players that will begin playing.
This is the only sensible explanation. It's far, far too late to add new content, and it's ridiculous to suggest that this was done to generate hype.

Yeah, I agree with everybody on this. Smash Bros. Melee is to this day, the best selling GameCube game out there. Figure millions of people around the world are playing that game even now. Nintendo's gotta get their stuff together for the massive amount of people going online.
So today they announced that Zelda does indeed still transform into Shiek. As crappy as the delay is, I'm glad there are at least decent updates on the site lately, and I'm glad these last few updates alone have squashed two incredibly illogical arguments that people have been making since the game was announced (1- People claiming Olimar would not be in the game because he's too small, while ignoring the fact that scale means nothing in the Smash games and 2- People claiming that since Zelda was using her Twilight Princess design there was absolutely no chance of her playing like she did in Melee)
