Surlaw's Agi is 130
Red's is 125

So why does Red go first?
Are the 5 Agi Surlaw gets from the Knight's Helm being ignored? How does it break a tie in determining turn order?

Only your base AGI is taken into account for turn orders.

That wouldn't really make a lot of sense, though (and would be dumb), especially with the Agi-afflicting statuses. I checked the info-post to see if it said anything about this before posting this topic.

But since their base is the same, that's why I'm curious how it breaks a tie. Does it just go alphabetical?

Hmm, Alphabetical seems like a really silly way to handle it.
I hope it's due to some kid of a coin-toss that just went in Red's favor.

I'd prefer having total AGI compared and then the Base and finally the coin-toss to determine who goes first.

For the very first turn, it's base Agi. This is sort of a bug, but has never been high enough priority for me to fix. It sorts itself out by the second turn.

If there's a tie for Agi, I'm pretty sure the tie goes to the player who was entered first on the challenge list. This is a pretty arbitrary method and you can't really verify the ordering after the battle has started. If you're concerned about it, I recommend buying a single point of Agi to set yourself apart from the competition.

As for the bug, I'll fix it sometime, I guess.
