Indeed, I've used that tactic pretty effectively in a few fights. Purge agi is a great move in my opinion, though I thought it was better when I was trying to do it to others. Still think it should be usable on others... oh well.

Then get a Dispel Spray?

These options exist for a reason, you know.

but dispel spray wouldn't have the effect I'd want. Don't get me wrong it's great for it's ability to not only get rid of debuffs but buffs as well, But it wouldn't have been what I wanted to do in the case of the tounry round 2 battle 2. When twin was both buffed and debuffed and I only wanted to get rid of his debuffs.
But I guess thats a rare case.

I'm pretty sure Purge would have done the same thing and just removed both of the status effects.

well there were 3 ( looking sharp, meditation, and paralyze ) I'm not sure if looking sharp increases agi so maybe you're right on that one, but meditation woulda been fine, and paralyze woulda been gone which was the desired effect.
