Hey folks! I stepped away from the OHR to work on other projects. I've been writing a tabletop role-playing game, which I'm still working on.

However, Shea Kennedy talked me into working on a new game, so now I'M BACK! Looking forward hanging out here again.

I'll keep you posted on Shea and I's new game as we develop it.

He lives! Funny, "what the heck happened to Willy Elektrix" came up in conversation on the Discord maybe a week or two ago.

It's codenamed Alien Squatter. You play as a homeless alien in a futuristic city. You have scrounge for food to survive and money to buy a way out of the awful neighborhood you live in. It will be really bleak and awful, but also kind of funny.

I'm feeling real warm and fuzzy now. Shea Kennedy is also working with me. Hopefully you'll see him around here too.

I'm digging the new Discord channel. Been having fun chatting on there while I make games.

Looking through the recent list of games uploaded since a year ago, there are an awful lot that I overlooked! So I feel kind of bad for directing even more attention to the 2018 One-Room Contest, since those games already have infinitely more attention than all those games that got uploaded without any mention on the forums. But those contest games are short and pretty nice.
Also, definitely Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy and, for you, maybe have a look at Asphodelus (hint: there's a door at the bottom-right of the bedroom which is very hard to notice). MorpheusKitami has also been uploading a lot of abstract games similar to Asphodelus.
