"I don't know for sure", says Cassia, drying her eyes with the handkerchief.
"But he has been talking about the Caravan depot, and he said he would be gone all night long. I don't know who he is mixed up with. That is a rough enough place in the day, but at night I think only smugglers and foreigners would hang out there."
Arcadia has been to the Caravan depot before, but only in the daytime. It is at the northwest edge of the city right between the poor quarter and the great desert. It is up-wind of the smokefields.
The caravan's warehouses and wagon-repair facilities are the only permanent structures. Other than that it is an ever-changing group of traveller's tents and wagons loading and un-loading.
During the day it is a good place to buy or sell horses, and the best place to post packages for the Royal mail, but back in better times, Arcadia had servants to go and do those things for her.
Sharn
Sharn follows Silva out of the building. Silva doesn't answer until they are out of earshot of Normin, and the crowd of students in the street.
"Quite a lot. There will be at least 30 doses of Lesser Polymorph, if they haven't been broken, and ingredients for making more. I have bags in our room, I already had them half packed when I heard Elsinore call for help. Then we can gather the stuff in the lab-room, and be out in a matter of minutes. It will all be easy as long as the Executioners aren't crawling all over the place."

"We should go find a real party, Jette" says Benny.DM wrote:If Spoons rolls stealth for Sharn, you can roll perception to try and spot her when she goes past behind Normin.
They start to head off towards Marketday
A couple of the students overhear this and seem to like the idea.
"Alright, class dismissed. I'll give you your grades on this assignment tomorrow." Instructor Vulgate says. She walks back over to Normin as the crowd disperses.
"I can make small adjustments to the enchantment if you want me to, but if you want any major changes, I'll have to dispel whole thing, and we can come back tomorrow and try it again."
Ebald waves hello to Normin, and goes inside the headquarters. The magic voice remains silent.
Cece
If Cece has ever seen an oppressed person in her life, it is Enos. His doughy human face is a veritable mask of bland acceptance-of-suffering. Among these chefs there seems to be an inverse relationship with how happy and fulfilled they look and the tallness of the chef hats they are wearing.
Enos just has a hairnet.
The next kitchen over seems less grand than this one. On the other side of the foot-path, under a rock outcropping is a single squared-off tent with a lot of good-smelling smoke leaking out from a vent in the top.
