The bloodhulk hit by Kalar's attack, stops moving and balloons up. It looks ready to pop as it sloshes forward. The other bloodhulk continues to proceed, while moving to avoid the now slower bloodhulk.
Voulton, once again, finds himself bogged down by Kalar's undead minions in these tight hallways. He decides to wait till the bloodhulks are a bit closer to start throwing his axes.

Kalar deals 42 dmg.

Kalar moves aside, giving the others room to advance and attack.

He calls out to the others, inspiring them to battle.





Nobility domain power: +2 morale bonus on saving throws, attack rolls, ability checks, skill checks, and weapon damage rolls. Lasts 1 round.

Voulton stays cautious, letting the enemy make the first move and keeping his distance. He'll move forward into the room, but only just. Throwing will be the order of the day, and he'll let them be the ones to get close enough to get it, thank you very much.

Rob moves forward, keeping just behind Voulton. He isn't sure what he can do to be useful right now.

He holds his Rapier of Light Infliction ready in his hand, cursing the fact that it is so useless at fighting undead-- allthough if one of the Blood hulks does rush into range, he will attack it, hoping that the sharpness of the blade will do more damage than the undead-healing magic undoes

Voulton chucks an axe into the ballooning bloodhulk. The wound does not bleed. Instead it spurts out a green acid. The acid spurting ball that was once a bloodhulk is assaulted by Kalar's zombies. Acid spits on them as they tear into it's skin. The acid does minimal damage to the skeletons, but the bulbous arm of the fat bloodhulk did plenty. A zombie was flattened under the things arm, in doing so, the bloodhulk opened more acid spurting holes in it's thin skin. Another zombie was destroyed after the second bloodhulk ran up and attacked. Bill charged up at the second bloodhulk, but his (its) attack missed.


Voulton deals 28 dmg.
Zombies deal 4, 5, and 4 dmg.

Two zombies destroyed.

Kalar moves back, allowing Bill room to move and Voulton to throw axes.

He holds up his holy symbol, sending forth a ray of burning sunlight at the injured bloodhulk.

The lumbering balloon that was a bloodhulk lurches forward at Bill, only to recieve an axe to the gut courtesy of Voulton. The thing erupts violently. Acid blasts across most of the room, hitting Kalar, Bill, the zombie, and Voulton. Rob avoids the blast zone by inches. The zombie is destroyed. Everything else looks badly burned, with no one able to evade any of the acid coming their way. The acid sticks to them as it burns.

Kalar blasts the other bloodhulk, and to falls to the ground. Acid drips from it's wound as it seems to fill up. Bill attacks the thing with a slam. It lurches at Bill, but it's heavy bulk causes it to miss.


Kalar, Bill, & Voulton take 34 acid dmg.

Kalar deals 32 dmg
Bill deals 12 dmg

Kalar shouts, "Fall back! Tactical withdrawal!"

He moves back as far as he can while mentally commanding Bill to do the same.

The bloodhulk lurches very slowly after the escaping adventurers. Rob, wanting to stay behind Voulton, retreats with him. The acid continues to burn and does a good deal of scolding to Kalar, Voulton and Bill before fizzling out. The group reaches the stairs back up and look back to see the thing seems to have lost them.

Voulton, Kalar, & Bill take 29 acid dmg.

Kalar will use his glove on all the living who are injured, and his other glove on himself and Bill.

He also heads out for a while to get Hrulgin to come along. Another combatant might be useful.

While Kalar is healing, the group hears a blast come form the direction they just came from.

"Uh oh... that doesn't sound good" Says Rob, but then after a moment's thought he adds; "Or maybe the other one exploded too. Maybe attacking them once triggers a magical timed fuse. Maybe we will just find another acid-stain when we go back there."
