As some of you might know I'm currently working on the game the Pumpkin Warriors. To promote it, I'll be making a webcomic series based on the game.

Golly! I hadn't noticed that you had put up a demo and screenshots for your game before now. Both the webcomic and your game's graphics are very nicely drawn.

I also played the alpha demo. You've definitely made a good start on the game. But the biggest problem with the game is the writing: there are lots of typos/errors, and the text and character dialogue is kind of... absurd! I don't mean the plot; that seems to be intentionally absurd. Here's one recommendation: never have multiple characters speak in the same text box. Putting "Sunny: (Explains what happened)" in the middle of a textbox looks especially bizarre and is better as its own.

Initially I ran from most/all battles, but later I realised that you do actually give out enough healing items that it's possible to fight all battles. I still found them annoyingly frequent though.

Thanks for the critic! And I also see your point with the battles and textboxes. I'll be fixing the battles in blobsters cavern. Could take a while but i'm happy to hear more than my friends saying "Oh awesome you make a game". And I'm really sorry for the typing mistakes I'm from germany and did most of them last year, where I wasn't that good in english ;D

I might be able to help you do some translations. I've only been studying German for 3 and a half years now, but I know at least some of the language. Also I love your art style, especially how close the comic looks to the actual game. I can tell you have a lot of Earthbound influence, and I don't think it's just the music. That's a good thing though, I love Earthbound.
