After doing that rail, I spent a lot of the day making my mine more opened up. I found a lot of diamond just laying around, so it was handy. I made me some pants an' a helm with 'em. After doing a lot of clearing, I decided to build my home in the world, a more permanent one, and so starts the build of my grand fortress of doom. Or smiles. Or something.
Right now, I've got a small industry smelter set up to keep churning out smoothstone while I'm doing stuff. I'm considering upgrading it, though, as it's not smelting the stone fast enough for me. Well, sorta.
If you're wondering what an industry smeltery is like, just hover on over to my ranch place and gaze upon it's shinyness, because it's kind of the only redstone....ish machine out there. It's not really complicated, but it takes 15 iron for the basic model, 6 chests, and a furnace.
I suppose it'll be good for you to get a stack or two of charcoal. Probably should use the tree-felling power on a redwood (plant it back too!) and turn all that to charcoal first.

My land's border has been outlined, and I shall begin building up the fort walls.
I have move my junk to my new place, and I shall build a railway to it once I get that far, but you can find it with enough effort from my old ranch.
The ranch is freely open to all to use, but please make sure to replenish the animals you slaughter, or just breed them up anyway.
As for the enchant table and brewery at the place, leave them there. They're meant for all to use, and your pilfering them isn't making that happen.
Anywho, I'll still be on today as I am building up my home.
