Meow has a nice setup at his house. Enchanting table (no bookshelves), farms, cows and nether portal. Just follow the skybridge. Which I think might not be going in the right direction. Origin is at 180,260.
The server appears to be set to an extremely easy setting. There are virtually no enemies; it's amazing that I managed to get blown up: it was the only creeper I've seen. Also there's an large amount of lag and desync when I try to craft anything, which I've never seen before, which makes me thing the server mod is to blame (custom recipes?).

Yeah, the host of the server is to blame. I'm going to backup the world and migrate it to a new provider that will give me three times the server memory for the same price as I'm paying now. Bear with me for an hour or so and I should have it situated.
Yeah, I played last night, and there was definitely something wrong with that server. I could not find a single hostile mob, and it kept printing strange messages at me, like telling me I had "readied my fists" whenever I switched to bare hands.
I'll try the new one when i get a chance.

readying thy fists an calming thy bosoms are part of the mod the server had. right-clicking with various tools gives you super powers for brief periods of time. the more you do random things the more "proficient" you become in it. not that I can really say what that does for you.
