Kwanzaa is to Christmas what BET is to all other TV channels or "Black History Month" is to the rest of the year.
It's taking something that had nothing to do with race and making a racial/cultural hullabaloo out of it.
I'm all for integrating non-European ways of celebrating Christmas into the holiday to enrich and enhance it, but not to make some sort of alternative to it.
Not that I want to derail this thread with my rage-inducing thoughts on racial or cultural sensitivity. This thread is about how awesome it is to celebrate the birthday of Jesus and tangential glee about other cool stuff to be happy about around this time of year.

No harm done, not on my part at least. Anti-Racism is racist now days anywho, not to mention racism isn't bad, it's cultural hate that is, the poor word racism is just beaten to death with improper use just like poor "decimate".
Merry Christmas, may the rest of the Half-Birthday of Jesus be groovy. (since apparently the birth of Jesus was estimated to have taken place during, I believe, July. or June. and I'm not speaking in reference to whatever the heck Christmas in July is, I'm speaking in actually research type of terms)
